Ramey Dawoud is a Sudanese American hiphop artist, actor, songwriter, and poet. He is of Nubian descent and his family originates from the ancient Nubian town of Wadi Halfa, Sudan. Ramey's music is known for its lyrics which highlight Sudanese everyday life, the Nubian struggle, and the problems the people of Sudan face against the Sudanese government.
